I purchased these about 7 years ago and have worn them, maybe, 6 times. I have hiked at 12K feet in knee deep snow and my feet stayed dry. While descending, and everyone is busting their @$$, these things stood firm in ice and mud at a slope of 1K/1M and steeper. Developed through research and experience in trail running, Sensifit wraps around the midcourt area to ensure a snug, comfortable fit for every foot shape.
